Ranking Member Frank Lucas released the following statement on the NASA Day of Remembrance:
"On the NASA Day of Remembrance we pay tribute to the brave men and women we lost on Apollo 1, Challenger, and Columbia. They were scientists and veterans, mothers and fathers, daughters and sons, explorers and pioneers. These astronauts believed in the value of human space exploration, and we honor their memory through our commitment to pursue missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond."
