Committee’s Weather Act Reauthorization Draws Widespread Support

(Washington, DC) - Today, the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee announced growing support for H.R. 6093, the Weather Act Reauthorization, which will continue to strengthen and advance our U.S. weather forecasting system. The bipartisan bill, introduced by Chairman Frank Lucas (R-OK) and Ranking Member Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), includes provisions from 12 different standalone bills and touches on the interests of 34 Republican and Democratic Members who cosponsored those bills.
