(Washington, D.C.) – This week, House Science, Space, and Technology Committee Chairman Frank Lucas announced the addition of Representative Greg Lopez (R-CO) to the Committee as its newest member.
“I am pleased to welcome Representative Greg Lopez to the Science Committee as we continue to drive innovation and research crucial to maintaining the United States' position as a global leader in science and technology,” said Chairman Lucas. “Rep. Lopez will provide a fresh outlook on many of our critical issues, and I look forward to collaborating with him to advance our full agenda.”
“I am honored to join the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee,” said Rep. Lopez. “I plan to use my limited time in Congress and on this committee to bring attention to the needs of Colorado’s 4th Congressional district. My district is home to a significant and robust tech and science industry which I have been granted the opportunity to represent; I intend to amplify the voice of those constituents through my position on this committee.”
