Washington D.C. – Investigations and Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Paul Broun (R-GA) yesterday sent a follow-up letter to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Administrator Jane Lubchenco, again requesting details of travel expenses by senior management at the Agency.
“Unfortunately, the Committee has not received a single record, nor has it received a schedule by which it can expect a NOAA response,” said Chairman Broun. “This level of recalcitrance mocks the notion of transparency. As NOAA continues to eschew its requirements to comply with Congressional oversight requests, the Committee's concerns are only heightened, and I must ask myself - what is NOAA trying to hide?”
Previous requests were sent on Aprihttps://science.house.gov/letter/broun-follow-letter-dr-lubchenco-about-noaa-travell 26, 2012 and October 24, 2012. Both can be found HERE
