Science Committee Republicans Reiterate Call for Answers as DOE Fails to Respond to Oversight Inquiries on New “Clean Energy Corps”
House Science, Space, and Technology Committee Republicans, led by Ranking Member Frank Lucas, wrote to Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Jennifer Granholm today requesting overdue answers on an oversight request about the Department’s new Clean Energy Corps.
Lucas: "Regrettably, I will not be casting my vote for the CHIPS and Science Act today."
This is one of those occasions that, as a statesman and responsible Member of Congress, I have to put aside my own pride in the Science Committee’s work and cast a vote that represents the best interests of Americans and - particularly - the good people of the Third District of Oklahoma.
